Veteran singer Ferdous Wahid got the Lifetime Achievement Award at ‘18th Shako Telefilm Award’ held at a city hotel yesterday. He got the award for his outstanding contribution to the country’s culture and music arena.
State minister for Local Government and Rural Development Mashiur Rahman Ranga attended the event as the chief guest.
While sharing his feelings to get the award Ferdous Wahid said, “Sako Telefilm and I share a spiritual relationship for a long time. Their forethought surrounding the cultural development of our country really amazes me. I felt wonderful to learn that my contribution to the country’s music arena is to be recognised with the lifetime achievement award. I am really very happy. I wish everyone related to Shako Telefilm all the best.”
