Five times National Film Award winning actor Ferdous Ahmed is busy with shooting of movie at a shooting house in Gazipur now. He told this correspondent he will remain busy with shooting of this movie till June 11. In the
meantime, today is his birthday. Despite remaining busy with works, Ferdous tries to keep no shooting schedule on his birthday. He passes this day along with his family. For this reason, from the shooting spot, Ferdous has returned to his residence on June 6 night. Under the planning of his two daughters, surprise birthday has already started.
Ferdous also said that on June 4, he attended a programme of Dhaka University Alumni Association (DUAA). In that programme, he was selected as cultural secretary of DUAA. While talking about his birthday and becoming cultural secretary of DUAA, Ferdous said, “Alhamdulillah, I am grateful to Allah to keep me and my family members well. Now I am engaged with shooting of a movie. But June 7 is my birthday, so I come back to my family to celebrate the day. My two daughters plan many things on the occasion of celebration of my birthday. This time my younger brother Tousif’s daughter is also joined with my daughters. So, rejoice and planning are more. I understand what is happening but they don’t understand. Their joyful moments give me pleasure. I was the former student of Department of Mass Communication of University of Dhaka. As a part of its continuation, I have been selected as Cultural Secretary of DUAA. I feel proud of it. Within very soon this responsibility will be handed over to me in a formal occasion. I shall perform my duties and responsibilities properly.”
