With the day’s well merited victory, Soccer Club advanced to the 7th slot in the league table securing 15 points from 15 matches while Farashganj SC remained at bottom in the eleven-team fray with five points, playing the same number of matches.
In the day’s lone match, Soccer Club took lead in the 2nd minute as their midfielder Ali Hossain found the net by a cracking right footer (1-0)
Forward Sohel Miah doubled the Soccer Club margin in the 24th minute by a placing shot, off a cut back of Alauddin (2-0)
Gambian forward of Soccer Club Dawda Cisse scored the 3rd goals in the 38th minute by a long range attempt (3-0)
Russell pulled Farashganj margin one back in the 53rd minute through a combined attack (3-1)
Alauddin of Soccer Club sent the ball to his own net in the 77th minute while trying to clear a cross of Farashganj forward Yusuf (3-2).
Dawda Cisse sealed the fate of the match scoring his 2nd and the 4th goal for Soccer Club in the 79th minute by a good header, utilizing a cross of Titun (4-2).
Farashganj defender Jahir got marching order in the 90th minute of the match.
