Police arrested a female union parishad member from Baliadangha area of Kheshabpur upazila on Sunday night.
The arrested was identified as Kobori Begum, 31, wife of Nur Ali and a member of Panjia union parishad.
Police arrested Kobori from the area in connection with a violence case.
Abdul Jalil, officer-in-charge of Keshabpur Police Station confirmed the incident.
