A female SSC examinee reportedly committed suicide by hanging herself in her house at Kalupara village in Tarash upazila on Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Sima Roheed,17, a student of Unkha
Paglapeer High School and daughter of Gyanedranath Roheed, a resident
of the village,
Quoting locals, police said Sima hanged herself in the afternoon in a huff after she got scolding from her father.
On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Sirajganj Sadar Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
