Miscreants have killed a female candidate of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) by slitting her throat at Nazir road of the district town.
The deceased was identified as Shirin Sultana Ratna, daughter of expatriate Aminul Haque of Sultanpur village under
Farhadnagar union parishad. She appeared in SSC examination this year from Balika Bidyaniketon of the municipal area. Police recovered the body from her own house on Thursday evening and sent it to Feni Sadar hospital morgue for autopsy. Rashed Khan, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Feni Sadar Model Police Station, confirmed the news. The OC visited the spot and confirmed that a youth was held in this connection.
