A case has been lodged before the court in Chittagong against 5 persons including Assistant Police Commissioner of Police of CMP Mahmuda Begum.
Business man Mahbub Morshed Sohel has lodged the suit before the court of Metropolitan Session Judge Md.Obaidus Sobhan yesterday alleging demand of bribe.
The judge heard the petition of the plaintiff and took into cognizance and it was forwarded to Deputy Police Commissioner of DB Kusum Dewan for submitting the probe report by October 30 next.
The other accused are: SI of Chandgaon thana Khaleduddin , SI Hafizul Islam and two others . The plaintiff is the Managing Director of Rubel Agro Farms Ltd of Muradpur in city, court sources said.
The written statement of the suit was told that the alleged accused detained two children of the plaintiff in Chandgaon than a without any reasons and demanded bribe of Tk.1 lakh from him and mentioned three incidents of March 10,August 3 & 4 of this year in the case.
The allegations were drawn under section 5(2) of Corruptions Resistance Act of 1947, court sources said.
