A young female physician was found hanging at the quarters of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) on Sunday night.
Police recovered the body of Dr Tanzila Akter Mithila, 27, wife of Dr Mizanur Rahman, also a physician at the DMCH medicine department.Sub-inspector of Shahbagh Police Station Masud said they recovered the hanging body of Mithila by breaking open the door of the room in the quarters around 9:30pm.
Mithila, who completed her MBBS from Bangladesh Medical College, came to Dhaka from Noakhali on November 6 to appear in an examination at the DMCH, said family sources.
She married Dr Mizan 11 months back, the sources added.
