Female footballers to celebrate Eid at BFF House

The female footballers of the 53-member squad will celebrate their Eid-ul-Fitr at the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) House. After deadly outbreak of coronavirus outbreak, the Bangladesh Government imposed a strict lockdown. Thus the Women’s Football League has been postponed. But the BFF has continued the residential coaching camp. So, Sabina Khaun, Moushumi, Sanzida & Co have to celebrate Eid at the BFF House.
Chairperson of the Women’s Wing of the BFF Mahfuza Akter Kiron said, ” The coronavirus-situation of the country is not normal now. The girls are now in a good shape. If we permit them to go home, it will be a risky mission for them. So, we have given emphasis to the health rules and they have been staying at the residential coaching camp. I shall also give time to celebrate Eid with them.”
After Eid festival the Women’s Football League is scheduled to be held from May 19. Then the booters, who are the participants of the Women’s Football League, will join their squad. Rest of them will take part in the coaching camp.
