UNB, Dhaka :
The Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) urged the BNP-led 20 party alliance to withdraw the non-stop countrywide blockade it announced on Monday.
In a press release on Monday FBCCI also urged the political parties to resolve the ongoing political crisis through discussion.
Having failed to come out of her office to join her alliance’s planned rally in the city, BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia said a countrywide blockade will continue until they come up with a fresh decision.
She made the announcement while talking to reporters on her Gulshan office premises in the afternoon.
The FBCCI said the blockade should be withdrawn as a business and investment-friendly environment has been prevailing in the country at present.
