After Eid, Sarika returned to acting as usual. But she could not continue her returning due to her father’s illness. Sarika’s father Safian Rahman is Deputy Managing Director of Eastern Bank Ltd. When he felt bad he was admitted into Apollo Hospital for proper treatment. So, Sarika had to pass busy times to give times to her father for last two weeks. She was always with him. For this reason, Sarika had to quit works of several plays including shooting in Nepal.
While talking in this regard Sarika told this correspondent, “After Eid, I usually started shooting. Suddenly my father became sick and he was admitted into hospital. Therefore, my only daughter also became sick. In fact, I couldn’t realize how I passed those days. Now they are well due to Allah’s blessings.”
After Eid, Sarika had finished shooting of three telefilms directed by Sakhawat Manik in Indonesia. In last Eid, she acted in four plays including direction of Hanif Sangket, Manik and Tuhin. -Entertainment Report
