A man was stabbedto death allegedly by his son in a sequel to a family feud inGurudaspurupazilaon Saturday.
The deceasedwas identifiedas Abu Samsal of Khamar Nachkoir village in theupzila.
Samsallocked into anargumentwith his daughter-in-law over a family dispute in the morning, said SalimReza, officer-in-charge of Gurudaspur Police Sattion.
At one stage of theargument, the victim’s son Rubel intruded into the brawl and stabbedSamsalindiscriminately, leaving him severely injured.
Later, next-door neighbors took him to Gurudaspur Upazila Health Complex where the duty doctor referred him to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital consideringthe severity ofhis injury.
Samsalsuccumbed to his injuries on his way to the hospital, said the OC.
Rubel and his wife went into hiding soon after the incident, the OC added.
