A two-month-old baby boy has been strangulated to death allegedly by his father at Alampur village in Sadar upazila.
Police recovered the body of Omar Hossain, son of Monir Hossain of Bharella village in Burichang upazila, from a dustbin at the village on Friday noon.
Samsuzzaman, inspector of Kotwali Police Station, said Taslima Akter, daughter of Abu Taher of Alampur village, was married off to Monir Hossain of the Bharella village a few years ago.
The couple used to engage in brawl over the family matter since their marriage.
On Thursday night, they picked a quarrel at the house of Abu Taher over the issue.
