In 2015, suddenly Farzana Rikta started her career in big screen. There was father-daughter relationship between legendary film actor of Bangladesh Razzak and Kolkata’s popular actress Rachana Banerjee. Razzak liked Rikta and then requested his son Bapparaz to cast his directed movie Kartoos. It was Rikta’s first acted movie.
She said, “I am very lucky because I got the opportunity to act with Razzak Sir. He liked me like his daughter. Now I miss his love to me.”
Last Friday Arun Chowdhury directed movie Altabanu was released where Farzana Rikta acted in role of Banu. Her acting was appreciated to all.
While talking about Rikta’s performance in the movie director Arun Chowdhury said, “Though Rikta’s role in the movie was little bit but she performed outstandingly well. She performed her level best in this movie.”
Rikta said, “Altabanu was my third movie. I was tensed with this movie. I am grateful to all because viewers accepted me positively. I am also grateful to Arunda to cast me. I want to be regular in acting in films.”
It is mentioned that Farzana Rikta in 2016 acted in Taher Shipon directed movie 71’er Mission. Now she is acting in different serials like Rahmatullah Tuhin’s Talk of the Town, Chhoto Bou, Cat House, etc. Daughter of Jessore’s Nazrul Islam and Mahfuza Islam Farzana Rikta’s birthday is January 28.
