Faruk Ahmed plays lead role in self written telefilm

As an actor, Faruk Ahmed has huge popularity among the viewers. Once if Humayun Ahmed’s any play was aired there was strong presence of Faruk Ahmed there.
Besides acting, he recites poems and also writes play. But his fans do not know his identity as a playwright. Earlier he wrote TV plays.
For the first time he wrote a telefilm. He also acted in that telefilm in lead role. Title of the telefilm is Kazir Biye. Mosharraf Hossain has made the telefilm. It will be aired on Channel i at 3:05pm.
While talking in this regard Faruk Ahmed told this correspondent, “Fifteen years ago, I first wrote a play. Till now I have written five plays. These plays became popular among the viewers. For the first time I have written a telefilm where I also acted in lead role. I believe I have written story of the telefilm so that I can portray the lead role properly. Viewers will enjoy to watch the telefilm, I think so.”
Amin Azad, Mir Sabbir, Mimo, Ishika Khan, among others, also acted in other roles in the telefilm besides Faruk Ahmed.
In 2000, Faruk Ahmed first wrote a play titled Uchcho Bongsho Patro Chai. Shahiduzzaman Selim gave direction of the play. Within very short days his written first TV serial Megheder Sangsar will go on air on ATN Bangla.
On the occasion of coming Eid-ul-Azha, Faruk Ahmed acted in several plays under Sagor Jahan, Animesh Aich, Anjan Aich, among others direction.
Yesterday Faruk Ahmed took part in shooting of Sajjad Sumon’s directed play Non-stop. His acted mentionable films are: Humayun Ahmed’s Shyamol Chhaya, Noi Number Bipod Sangket and Mostafa Kamal Raj’s Tarkata. Recently he has finished shooting of Animesh Aich’s directed movie Bhoyonkor Sundor.
