Noted film actor and Member of the Parliament Farooque had been
receiving treatment in Singapore’s Mount Elizabeth Hospital since March. He had been in the ICU of Mount Elizabeth Hospital for quite some time, back in April. The news was confirmed by Zayed Khan, the General Secretary of Bangladesh Film Actors’ Association. He said, “I just talked to
his wife a few minutes ago. She requested prayers from the people of this country.” Farooque is reportedly out of danger, improving slowly day by day. Even a few days ago, he was unable
to move or talk, fortunately, the actor is now talking again. Last October, he was diagnosed with tuberculosis, commonly known as TB, at Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore.
