Farmers’ training on Zinc Rice held at Manda Naogaon Correspondent A farmers’ training on Zinc enriched BRRI dhan64 was held on Monday morning at CCDB office, Manda in Naogaon district. The programme was held with the financial support of CIAT and IFPRI, and implemented by Harvest Plus Bangladesh and CCDB. A total of 50 farmers will be imparted training on seed production, processing and storage of BRRI dhan64 in 3 upazilas of Rajshahi and Naogaon district. The training programme was conducted by the experts from BRRI and DAE. The BRRI scientist Dr. Nazmul Bari and Md. Harun-ar-Rashid, the UAO , Khoir Uddin Molla, AEO, A.A.M Wahiduzzama, Harvest Plus ARDO Mr. Zakiul Hasan were present as guests as well as trainer of the programme. Manager Seed Promotion Programme Shamiran Biswas and the area Coordinator Rangit Kumar Shaha of CCDB facilitated the training programme.
