Sheikh Arif Bulbon :On the occasion of coming Eid-ul-Azha, filmamker and play director Alvi Ahmed is making a six-episode serial titled Vagabond recently. Shooting of the serial has already been started in a house in the city’s Uttara area. Popular film actor Riaz is acting in the title role of the serial. Monpura famed popular actress Farhana Mili and popular TV actress Sadia Jahan Prova are also acting with him for the first time. Prova is acting in role of Riaz’s wife, while Farhana Mili is acting in role of his younger sister in the serial. Earlier Farhana Mili and Prova worked against Riaz separately. But for the first time, they worked together in this serial. In the meantime, both Prova and Mili had experience to work under Alvi Ahmed’s direction in serial and single episode plays. But Riaz for the first time is working against them. Riaz said, “It is first written story by Alvi Ahmed which is based on very interesting story. It is also a challenging role. I have to work hard. Therefore, as co-actresses, Prova and Farhana Mili are very cooperative. I am working in this serial cordially. I believe viewers will enjoy the serial.”Farhana Mili shared her feelings by this way, “Earlier under Sajjad Sumon’s direction I acted against Riaz in a play titled Aporanher Golpo. I was really impressed with behaviour of a renowned actor like him. Later I also worked with him BBC Bangla’s serial Ujan Ganger Naiya – Season 2. I am enjoying working with him in Vagabond. I think viewers will enjoy the serial.”Prova said, “Earlier I had worked against Riaz Bhai in several plays under Sokal Ahmed’s direction. I had also worked with Mili. Overall I found intimacy and cordial atmosphere while working in Alvi Ahmed’s serial. I am personally optimistic about this serial to work.”The serial Vagabond will be aired on ATN Bangla in Eid-ul-Azha, said its director.On the occasion of coming Eid, Riaz has acted in several plays under Shahid Un Nabi, Masud Sezan, Ashraful Chanchal, among others. Both Prova and Mili will be seen more plays rather than previous year’s Eid.
