A largely attended farewell reception to the Senior Assistant Commissioner(Land) Raozan Jonaid Kabir sohag following his promotional transfer was held at Raozan Upazila auditorium on Monday afternoon with UNO Md. Shamim Hossain Reza in the chair.
Lawmaker of the Raozan constituency and chairman of Parliamentary standing committee ABM Fazle Karim chowdhury graced the occasion as chief guest. Upazila chairman Ehsanul Haider chowdhury Babul, President of Upazila AL Kamaluddin, vice chairmen Noor Mohammad and Fouzia Khanam Mina were present on the occasion as special guest.
Among others, Panel Mayor Bashiruddin Khan, Zamiruddin Parvez, Jubo League Secretary Abdul Jabbar Sohel, all UP chairmen of the upazila, councilors of purashava , all officials of the Raozan upazila administration were present in the gracious occasion. The chief guest in his brief deliverations praised the activities in Raozan during his two years performance and earmarked the senior Asstt. commissioner as a best BCS official. The lawmaker also told that officer like Jonaid Kabir is rare in our society and he wished his better furture and long life .
