The farewell reception to internee physicians of 16th Batch of DMHS course of the Azizur Rahman Homoeopathic Medical College was held on Saturday at College premises with its Principal Dr.Ferdousi Begum in the chair.
Principal of Chattogram Govt College Prof.Dr. Abul Hasan graced the occasion as chief guest. Vice President of Chattogram Mohanagar unit of Awami league Khorshed Alam Sujan was the principal speaker in it. President of Chattogram Union of Journalist Nazimuddin Shamal, Editor of Homoeo Chetona Dr. Saleh Ahmed Suleman, Divisional member of BHB Dr. Md. Atahar Ali, and Principal of Parents Care School & college Prof. Dr.Jaharlal Bhattachariya attended the reception as special guests. President of the central committee of Bangladesh Homoeopathic Parishad Principal Dr.Abdul Karim has been awarded with the Honourary Memento for his unprecedented contributions in Homoeopathic medical science . C onvenor of the farewell reception committee Dr.Mosleuddin Khan Jewel conducted the farewell reception. Among others, Prof.Dr.Debratha Bhattachariya, Prof.Dr. Omar Faruk, Prof. Dr. Giasuddin Ahmed, Prof. Dr. Alauddin, Dr. Enamul Hoque spoke on the occasion.
The ch ief guest in his deliverations said Homoeopathy is a science based natural treatment which is practiced in a cheaper cost, easily available and urged the homoeopathy physcians to make more popular of this medicare services throughrese ar ch and regular studies . Principal speaker on the occasion Khurshid Alam Sujon said modern alopathic treatment goes beyond the capacity of the common people and now homoeopathy medicare became only way of the poors patients to survive . CUJ President Nazimuddin Shamal said there are enough scope for development this science based medical treatment through more research and homoeopathy can relieve a patient from complicated diseases. The honoured guest Principal Dr.Abdul Karim mentioning the internee physcians said the relations of students and teachers not ended here rather it begins newly to acquire knowledge over this medical science .
At concluding session of the reception, crests have been given to the guests, teachers and outgoing internee physicians. The speakers on the occasion demanded re-introduction of internee allowance through national budget provisions and upgrade of DHMS physicians to BHMS through introduction of short course . About hundred internee physicians were present on the occasion.
