Family members meet Nizami

 Six family members of the death-row convict Motiur Rahman Nizami met him at Kashimpur Jail on Friday morning. The family members include his wife Begum Samsunnahar Nizami, two sons, two daughters-in-law and one daughter. On Thursday, a four-member Appellate Division bench headed by Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha upheld death sentence for Motiur Rahman Nizami for crimes against humanity during the country`s 1971 War of Independence. With the verdict, the government can initiate Niazami’s execution process. The final chance that he can avail is to beg for his life to the President.
