Fakir Alamgir to voice for the oppressed on May Day

Veteran ganasangeet singer Fakir Alamgir has prepared big for this year’s May Day. He will perform in both TV media and on stage. Many of the TV programmes will be aired live.
Fakir believes that the spirit of May Day should not be withheld to May 1 only but practiced throughout the year. He demanded proper rehabilitation for the victims of Rana Plaza and Tazreen Garments disasters.
Fakir will start with Gaane Gaane Shakal on Channel i at 7.35am. Then he will be heard on BTV at 11.30am. The programme has been named “Ahaban.” Again he will appear on BTV at 3.05pm on the musical show Ane Mukti, Ane Alam. He will return to Channel i at 3.30pm with the show Gai Shammer Gaan.
He will also appear in ATN Bangla’s show Chayer Chumuke and on NTV’s show Shubho Shandhay. In the evening he will be seen in two other shows one on Gazi TV and the other on Desh TV. For Gazi TV he has recorded the show titled “Ei Shandhay” and for Desh TV he has sung for “Mahan May Alekkha.” The programme on Desh TV will be aired at 7.45pm. At 11pm at night he will appear in a live show on Boishakhi Television. The show is titled “Shekar Bhanga Kabbo.” Finally at 1am past midnight he will appear in Channel i-Grameen Phone Tritiyo Matra. In the afternoon Fakir Alamgir will perform at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre, Agargaon.
