Police arrested a fake female doctor from New Market area in the port city on Monday evening on charges of taking huge money from several women luring them of providing nurse job at Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH). The arrestee Ruma Akhter, 21, wife of Md Sujan, hailing from Lalmohan upazila in Bhola district, used to live in Shunner Tek area under Karnaphuli Police Station.
Mohammad Mohsin, officer-in-charge of Kotwali Police Station, said that Ruma used to address her as a doctor of CMCH and took money from some 20-30 women alluring them to give nurse job at CMCH. Faisal Bin Mannan, who filed a case against Ruma on behalf of a victim.
