City Detective police of CMP rounded up one fake DB officer from Mirsarai area of Chttagong yesterday for alleged deceiving a person with hope of providing job in Sub Inspector post.
Counter terrorism unit of Detective police of Chittagong conducted the raid to apprehend the fake police manj He was identified as Firoj Alam alias Alam Saheb b(60) . . Additional Deputy Police Commissioner, Chittagong AAM Humayun Kabir told the media that he was undergoing the deceiving business since long impersonating himself as DB officer. Sources said the said fake police man received Tk.2 lakh from one Sirajul Islam of Mirsarai ensuring his service in police .
After receipt of the said amount of taka , fake DB man disappeared and not available even in mobile phone. Later the matter was apprised to Chittagong DB office and finally lodge a FIR before the Kotwali thana under CMP on March 1 last, sources said.
