Fahmida composes song for Samina

Fahmida Nabi and Samina Chowdhury two noted singers and sisters are both famous for their beautiful songs. They are famous for their versatile singing quality with their melodious voices for decades .
Recently, Samina recorded a patriotic song composed by her elder sister, Fahmida. Though Fahmida has penned and composed around 35 songs so far, this is the first time she has composed any song for her sister.
The song, titled “O amar janmobhumi,” penned by Rana Masud, was recorded at a studio in Dhanmondi. The song will be included in an upcoming album named “Jiboner Joyogaan.”
The album will also feature various singers such as Rafiqul Alam, Bappa Mazumdar, Pintu Ghosh, Reshmi, Rituraj, Elita, Tashfi, Sukonna and Fahmida Nabi.
Talking about the album, Fahmida expressed her contentment. “Each song of the album is different from the others. I have been working really hard on this project.”
She said the theme of the album was a little different and interesting. “Most of the songs describe the significant ancient architectural wonders of Bangladesh,” she said.
“The album has turned out fascinating; I have been involved with this project for little over a month,” she added. “However, I am enjoying the pressure – composing each song based on the singers’ style of rendition.
