Though she has been acting in small screen for many days but Fahmida Sharmeen Fahmee had a dream to work in the big screen. At last, her dream comes into true. Finally she has been selected to cast in role of Farzana in Mizanur Rahman Labu’s movie Dulal-er Mukh Dekhi.
Fahmee will play in role of a university student in the movie. While sharing her feelings to work in big screen for the first time she told this correspondent, “For the first time I am going to work in a movie. I cannot express my feelings in a word right now. Despite taking more time I am going to debut my career in big screen. I am grateful to director Labu Bhai and production house of the movie. I am taking necessary preparation in this regard. I believe it will become a nice movie.”
Md Abdul Momen will produce the movie Dulal-er Mukh Dekhi. Its shooting will start in March, said its director.
In 1996, under the banner of Sayanhika Theatre Fahmee first acted in Tutul Chowdhury directed and Munier Chowdhury scripted play Apni Ke on stage. Later she completed a six-month certificate course from Prachyanat. Later she worked with theatre group, Palakar for one year. Now she has been engaged with Bangladesh Bank Theatre.
In TV, Fahmee first acted in Kaiser Ahmed’s serial Shimana. Later she acted in many serials and faction plays. Irani Biswas directed Antoreep was her acted one of the mentionable works. Besides acting, she has been also performing as a model in different TV commercials. She is also hosting different programmes on BTV. Hailed from Brahmanbaria she has been also engaged with hosting in different stage shows now.
