Noted Tagore singer Fahim Hossain Chowdhury’s solo album titled Dokhin Duar has been launched at a function held at Bengal Shilpalaya in the city’s Dhanmondi area recently.
Director General of Bangladesh Film Development Corporation (BFDC) Pijush Bondyopaddhyay unveiled cover of the album, while Director General of Bengal Foundation Luva Nahid Chowdhury and singer Fahim Hossain Chowdhury were also present at the album launching ceremony.
After launching of the album Fahim Hossain rendered songs from his newly released album in the programme.
It may be mentioned that songs of the album Dokhin Duar is compiled with songs of Rabindranath Tagore’s Prokriti phase.
Titles of the songs of the album are: Pub hawate dei dola, Emon din-e taar-e bola jai, E ki gobhir bani elo, Koto je tumi monohor, Ebar obogunthon kholo, Hemontey kon Boshonter bani, Sheuly-phonta phurolo, Sei bhalo, sei bhalo, Aji dokhin duar khola and Etodin je boshe chhilem.
