Fahad finishes 35th in International Open Chess

Mohammad Fahad Rahman of Access Chess Club finished 35th position in the IIFL 2nd Mumbai International Open Chess Tournament (Grandmasters Tournament) which was held on Tuesday last in Mumbai, India.
Twenty players including FM Fahad earned 6 points each after 9th or last round games and tied for 20th place. Fahad became 35th in tie-breaking system.
In last round, Fahad beat FM Srijit Paul of India. Tukhaev Adam of Ukraine emerged champion with 7.5 points.
The event was held in 9 round Swiss-League system and a total 218 players from 16 countries including 15 grandmasters, 2 women grandmasters and 16 grandmasters participated in the event.
