The feuds in between the factional groups of Jatiya Party in the port city against the proposed Chittagong public rally of Party Chairman Hossain Md. Ershad now at peak. JP led by Mehjabeen Morshed MP in Chittagong is undergoing massive preparations to hold the proposed public meeting at laldighi maidan on November 12 next where party chairman is expected to address the rally. On the other hand , two factions led by Solaiman Seth and Abu Taher are also in field to resist the party rally of Mahjabeen morshed at laldghi. These two factions also declared to hold separate rally at the adjoining venue of Laldighi on Nov 12 but the CMP authority did not permitted any factions of the party to arrange rally there,sources said. A reliable sources of rival factions told that before Nov 12 rally, these anti-Mohajabeen factions will be unified to resist the Ershad’s rally.
Meanwhile, the central leaders of JP alongwith the city, and district leaders of JP are advancing with massive preparations to make success of the Ershad’s rally on Nov 12. At the same time, City JP convenor Mehzabeen morshed MP and Member secretary of city committee Eyakub Hossain ae holding preparatory meetings in each ward of the city in connecton of the grand public rally of Ershad. In the meantime, JP Secretary General Ziauddin Ahmed bablu MP and the Water Resources minister Anisul Islam Mahmud mp persuing the ward committees in city and the distsrict committees for taking larger preparations for welcoming the party chairman in Chittagong. Member Secretary city convening committee Eyakub Hossain told that in the proposed rally of the JP chairman, about one lakh people will attend it , he hopes.
He also denounced the utterings of the so-called factions in city . Leader of one faction Alhaj Abu Taher said they will resist the rally and the next course of actions against the proposed rally of Mahazabeen morshed will be announced soon through convening a press conference.
