Basically, the infection of the virus causes inflammation in the white part of the eye, the small blood vessels of the eye swell and the color of the eye becomes red. Eye conjunctivitis sometimes causes burning and redness in one or both eyes. Eye irritation, itching, stinging, watery eyes, white dirt in the eyes, severe pain in the eyes in some cases is one of the main symptoms of this disease. The disease is highly contagious. According to doctors, the incidence of eye swelling increases in summer and monsoon.

People affected by this are consuming eye drops and antihistamine medicines without consulting a doctor.
