Chittagong Bureau :The 86th ICC cricket venue of Jahur Ahmed Chowdhury cricket stadium has been decorated beyoung expectation and eye-catching illumination. This stadium is completely ready for holding the coming ICC T-20 world cricket tourney which is scheduled to be started from tomorrow. The surrounding areas of the stadium was developed with the different species of flower gardens accompanied with the erection of the traditional natural beauties like traditional Palki, Sampan(local boat), statue of Royal Bengal tigers, and paintings of natural beauties of chittagong in the stadium wall and galleries and green square . Sources said students of Fine Arts Department of Chittagong University had taken the responsibilities of paining decorations. On entry point of the cricket players a big replica of the one of founder of Awami League, Jahur Ahmed Chowdhury was placed. Divisional cricket council officials sources said 15 T20 cricket match will be held in this venue of the T20 World cup. The practice matches of the world cricket team will be held at another test venue MA Aziz stadium in city. Security deployed in whole city area specially the areas of two stadiums and two residential hotels. Players will state at Hotel Agrabad and the Hotel Peninsula, sources said. Additional deputy police commissioner Babul Akhter told the New Nation that about 6 thousand lawenforcers will discharge their duties in 73 points of the city and specally in stadium and hotel areas round the clock.Besides, law enforcers will be posted all posh hotel in the city where the foreign sports organizers, fans, visitors will stay. Law enforcing also enquiring other posh hotels for their suitable stay for the foreigners during ICC tourney.
