Export turned around now after Covid-EPB Vice-Chairman

AHM Ahsan, Vice Chairman of the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) said on Thursday that the exports of the country have turned around now after two-years of Covid-19 pandemic, report BSS.
“The government has provided cash incentives for 42 items (products) at different rates,” he said this while addressing a seminar titled ‘Knowledge Sharing on FE Circulars on Cash Assistance for Export by Bangladesh Bank at Bangabandhu Conference Hall of the World Trade Center as chief guest.
The Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) and Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) jointly organized the seminar.
Sharmin Akhter, Director of Chattogram EPB presided over the function while CCCI Vice President Syed Mohammad Tanvir and BGMEA First Vice President Syed Nazrul Islam were among others addressed the function as special guests. Mohammad Arafat Ali, Joint Director, Bangladesh Bank delivered the keynote paper on the occasion.
