Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque has said Bangladeshi expatriates have huge contribution to development process of the country as they are sending huge amount of remittances every year.
“Country’s economy is being immensely benefited by the hard-earned remittances of Bangladeshi expatriates living around the world,” he told a discussion in New York, USA yesterday organized on the occasion of the historic March-7, an official release said today.
The anti-liberation forces are launching propaganda against Bangladesh to tarnish its image but they would not be successful, Mozammel said adding Bangladeshi expatriates should remain alert to resist any ill motive of the anti-liberation forces for upholding image of the country.
