City Mayor AJM Nasir Uddin proposes Twin-city relations between Chittagong Port and Russian Port city.
The proposal was placed before the Ambassador of Russian Federation in Bangladesh Mr. Alekjendar Isantive while paid courtesy call on city mayor at latter’s office on Monday.
City Mayor termed Russian Federation as a real friend of Bangladesh and recollected the role of Russia towards independence of Bangladesh during liberation war in 1971. City Mayor said Bangladesh will never forget the contribution of erstwhile Soviet Union during our liberation war.
