Ex-health state minister Dr. M Amanullah dies at 88

Professor Dr. M Amanullah, former State Minister for Health and Family Welfare and Mymensingh Bhaluka Upazila Awami League president, has passed away at the aged of 88-years. The former State Minister breathed his last at his residence in Dhaka on Thursday evening. He is survived by his wife, a son and a daughter and numerous relatives, colleagues, admirers and well-wishers.
He was an advisor to the former Central Swechasebak League, an MP elected four times from the Mymensingh-11 Bhaluka constituency.
Family sources have confirmed that he will be buried in the family graveyard after the first Namaz-e-Janaza at Bhaluka Government Degree College ground after Jumma prayer and the second Namaz-e-Janaza at Mahmudpur Sayera-Safayet School and College ground in the upazila on Friday.

Incumbent MP Kazim Uddin Ahmed Dhanu, reserved seat MP Monira Sultana Moni, former chairman of Bhaluka UP and general secretary of Awami League Golam Mostafa, Upazila Parishad chairman Abul Kalam and municipal mayor Dr. Mezbah Uddin Qayyum, Upazila Awami League, its members and allied organizations have expressed mourned and deep grief over his death.
