UNB, Dhaka :
Police arrested a former student of the Dhaka University along with 845 pieces of Yaba tablets and cash Tk 22,500 from Mohsin Hall of the university here early Monday.
The arrestee was identified as Russel Uddin, 25. He graduated from the university last year.
Tipped off, a team of Shahbagh thana police launched a drive in a room of Mohsin Hall at around 3:00 am and arrested Russel, said Shahbagh Police Station inspector (Investigation) AK Saidul Haque Bhuiyan.
Later, they recovered 845 pieces of Yaba tablets and cash Tk 22,500 from his possession.
