BSS, Dhaka :
Central 14-party alliance spokesperson and Awami League Presidium Member Mohammed Nasim on Friday said several evil forces are out in the country to create anarchy in the name of forging national unity.
“If these evil forces create anarchy in the name of giving support to BNP-Jamaat ahead of the next national polls, the 14-party alliance along the people will resist them in unison,” he told a press briefing after a meeting of the alliance at Awami League president’s Dhanmondi political office here.
Nasim, also Minister for Health and Family Welfare, said the evil forces are hatching deep-rooted conspiracies in the name of so-called national unity. They want to bring unconstitutional forces to power by catching fish in muddled water, he added.
The 14-party spokesman expressed thanks to the voters of Gazipur City Corporation (GCC) area for casting their votes in favour of AL candidate to ensure his victory in the election.
“People are our source of power and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is the symbol of power of the people,” he said.
The minister said the pro-liberation forces remain united to resist all anti-liberation forces.
Samyabadi Dal General Secretary Dilip Barua, AL Joint General Secretary Abdur Rahman, Organizing Secretaries Ahmed Hossain and Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury, Office Secretary Dr Abdus Sobhan Golap, Information and Research Secretary Advocate Afjal Hossain and Bangladesh Tariqat Federation Chairman Syed Nazibul Bashar Maizbhandari were present on the occasion, among others.
