If a new baby is born in Bhangura Upazila of Pabna, he or she has been wished with flower and initiative to plant a sapling in their name.
Sayed Asrafujjaman, UNO, Bhangura has taken this exceptional initiative.
It is learnt that a child was born in the village Bhangura South Sarutia on Monday. After receiving the news, UNO arrived at the village with flowers and saplings to the new born.
As a result, a new level of joy added to the house. UNO presented a bouquet of flowers to the new born Raka and the maternity mother Maya Parvin and planted sapling in their house’s yard on his own initiative.
In this time, among others Dr Halima Khanam , Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer and Abdul Matin, Upazila Fisheries Officer were also present there.
UNO Sayed Asrafujjaman said “We started the work from yesterday,”.
