Chittagong City Mayor AJM Nasir Uddin said to build the developed Bangladesh, the IT engineers should play pioneering role .
He disclosed it while addressing the concluding session of the ever largest computer programming test of national level held at Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology auditorium on Friday as chief guest.
CUET sources said 149 teams of different college, universities of the country participated in the programming contest in 2-day long program .
Among the contesters, BUET team clinch first position, CUET team gets second and Jahangirnagar University attains 3rd positions.
Among five female teams, JU team clinch first position.
The chief guest reiterated the Rupkalpa-2041 as declared by the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and the IT enginers should play the effective role to achive the dreams of Rupkalpa-41.
The special guest on the concluding session, vice chancellor Prof.Dr. Rafiqul Alam greeted the Information and Communication Technology department and Bangladesh Computer council for selecting the CUET for NCPC -2017 contest . Among others, Dean of EEE faculty Prof.Dr. Md. Kaikobad, BCC President Mostafa Jabbar and BDOSS General Secretary Munir Hasan spoke on the occasion.
Head of CSE Deptt of CUET Prof. Dr. Md. Moshiul Hoque presided over it while the secretary of the program committee Prof.Dr. Md. Shamsul Arefin delivered the address of welcome it it, sources said.
