Tofazzal Hossain, student of Faculty of Business Administration, Eastern University (EU) participated a two-week long international program titled “Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology (TNI) Cross-Cultural Program 2017, Thailand” held from 19 to 31 March 2017.
Hossain who is also the President of Visual Archive Club at EU represented Bangladesh in this prestigious event.
This special cross-culture program was designed for students from many universities including Japan, Thailand and Bangladesh to provide cross-cultural interactions, introduction to Thai culture and language, etc. The participants have been introduced Thai Cooking Class, Cross-Culture Class, Sightseeing trips in some significant places, e.g., Ayutthaya (former capital of Kingdom of Siam), Samut Songkhram, China Down Town, Koh Larn Island, Pattaya, and Bangkok. They have also been taught some games of Japan and Thailand.
EU and TNI, Thailand signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on 18th October 2016 in order to extend mutual relationship and international academic cooperation.
