UNB, Dhaka :
Jatiya Party Chairman HM Ershad on Sunday expressed his solidarity with the ongoing widespread movement of students demanding a nine-point demand, including ensuring safety in roads and justice for the two students who were killed in a road accident in the capital, and resignation of Shipping Minister
Shajahan Khan. In a press statement, JaPa chairman congratulated the student saying that the innocent students launched protest on the road and earned their demands.
He said “Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina accepted their demand without any delay; I sincerely thank her for that. And now urge the students to leave the roads and return to their classes.”
“I hope the protest of children demanding safe roads will be a milestone, they should return to classes as far its greatness sustains”, he said.
He warned the countrymen that some vested groups were trying to gain political advantage centering the student movement and also urged the transport owners and workers to withdraw their strike.
