Erosion delinks 3 villages of Zakigonj

Erosion of Surma River has disconnected communication between 3 villager of Manikpur union of Zakigonj Upazill under Sylhet District. The villages are Rasulpur, Suranondapur and Horaitiluchon. Suram destroy the natural scene of Suranondapur. Roads are disappeared. Continuous erosion destroy roads, Trees, Buildings.
So geographical area of Bangladesh effected. Area of India is now expanding, people of Bangladesh became helpless.
In visiting the area it is saw that only road of communication with Zilla and upazila is destroyed by erosion. Some land of crop is now in the belly of river. Suranondapur Primary school is now under great danger. Road communication of 10,000 villagers are in great danger. Passer by face problem to cross the road. Particularly aged and patients face great trouble. No step has get been taken to protect the villagers. On Saturday UNO M Nahidul Karim visited the area and take step.
Muslim Ali of Suranondapur Said every thing of the area is totally damaged. Many families become landless. He want immediate government help.
M Selim of Suranondapur said the erosion held for a long time local administration is inactive UNO visit the area on Saturday.
UP member A Motin Said we informed the higher authority.
UNO M Nahidul Karim said he visited the area. After meeting with UP chairman action will be taken.
