EPS of five companies secured top positions in capital market

Net Assets Value (NAV) per share of five companies have recorded in the prospectus of its last financial year’s secured the largest positions compared with the listed companies’ corresponding year’s per share NAV.
The five companies are British American Tobacco, Walton Hi-Tech Industries (WHIL), Berger Paints, GlaxoSmithKline, Reckitt Benckiser and Grameenphone
On the other hand, Walton’s Earnings Per Share (EPS) is the second highest compared with the listed local companies’ last financial year’s EPS.  
In the country’s capital market, Walton Hi-Tech is going to be listed with ever highest EPS recorded during the Initial Public Offering or IPO.
Comparing with the listed companies’ EPS disclosed in their previous year’s financial statements, the electronics giant’s EPS Tk 45.87 was in the top eighth position. Even, Walton’s EPS’s was higher than that of some listed multinational companies like Berger Paints and Grameenphone.
