Environment classes, exams of JU halted

Classes and examination of environmental sciences department of Jahangirnagar University has been halted for about a month while the dept. of computer science and engineering is going to boycott all academic activities today (Friday) as the authorities have failed to resolve the ongoing classrooms crisis.
The decision of suspension of all classes of CSE dept. came at a press meet on Thursday afternoon on the campus.

blamed the administration for creating the crisis.
Meantime, The ENV dept. which already had fall in six months session jam, have been demonstrating since beginning of the February demanding the transfer while they stopped their academic activities since last month.
Meanwhile, the probe team formed to investigate the situation has failed to submit any report although the deadline to do so has passed.
The students of the CSE and ENV department held a several protest rally on the campus yesterday (Thursday) pressing home their demand.
The teachers and students of CSE, ENV science and Geological Science dept. have been continuing their demonstration since February for allocating the newly constructed third floor of Geological science and CSE building.
