Entrepreneurship seen training vital for flourishing industrial sector

Industrial experts at a discussion here Sunday opined that there was no way but to impart entrepreneurship development training for boosting the country’s industrial sector besides generating furthermore genuine entrepreneurships.
They underlined the importance of such type of training which is very vital to build the self-reliant digital Bangladesh declared by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
The experts were addressing the inaugural session of a three-day entrepreneur development training course at Skill Development Training Centre here. Industrial Support Centre (ISC) of Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC) organized the training.
In the current batch, 53 entrepreneurs of SME are taking part in the training. Regional director of BSCIC Engineer Ajharul Islam addressed the session as chief guest with deputy general manager of ISC Mahbubur Rahman in the chair.
Manager Sazedur Rahman, Expert Tamanna Rahman, Survey and Information Officer Akmal Hossain, Extension Officer Anwarul Karim, Evaluation Officer Waleda Khatun and Assistant Administrative Officer Nazrul Islam also spoke.
The speakers said the BSCIC has been working relentlessly for creating self-employment through training.
After getting training, the young entrepreneurs will contribute a lot towards making the country self-reliant coupled with eradicating the unemployment problems through establishing small and medium type industries.
The participants are being imparted training on various issues like entrepreneurship, industrial policy, bank loan, product shortening and quality control and accounts.
