A two-day long 18th ‘Entrepreneurship Fair And Business Plan Competition 2017’ was held at Southern University Bangladesh (SUB) recently. The theme of the competition was “Promoting National Heritage”. SUB Department of Business Administration organized the fair while Dr Apurup Chowdhury, Chairman of Bangladesh Porjatan Corporation(BPC) was present as chief guest.
Vice-Chancellor of Southern University Prof Dr Md. Nurul Mustafa, Initiator and Founder Prof Sarwar Jahan , Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof Engineer M Ali Ashraf, Dean of Business Administration Prof Dr ANM Abdul Muqtader, Prof AJM Nuruddin Chowdhury, Registrar Dr Mantazul Islam Chowdhury, Head of Business Administration Dr Ishrat Jahan, Associate Prof of Business Administration and coordinator of Fair Kazi Nazmul Huda, competition judges Artist Ahmed Newaz and CEO and Principle of Institute of Fashion and Technology(VOGUE) Mansoor Alam were also present.
Students of BBA Entrepreneurship Development course will come up with creative business models of 16 stalls where represents Promoting National Heritage. The fair was ended in the midst of greater festivity and jovial atmosphere. Later certificates was awarded among the participant stalls after the end of the fair.
