Speakers at a function here Tuesday urged the entrepreneurs to know ICT properly to earn money through outsourcing to change their socio-economic condition and take the nation ahead.
“Thousands of youths including young girls are earning a lot of money through outsourcing sitting at homes and they are also contributing much to enhance the economical growth of the country”, they said.
They made the comments while addressing the concluding ceremony of the five-day training for the young trainers at the conference room of district collectorate building here on Tuesday.
Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Division under the Ministry of Post, Telecommunication and Information Technology organized the training in cooperation with district administration under Freelancer to Entrepreneur Development Programme.
Additional deputy commissioner (General) Abu Bakar Siddique addressed the function as the chief guest while assistant commissioner (ICT) of deputy commissioner (DC) office Sharif Ahmed presided over the ceremony.
The participants were imparted with training on different ICT issues including business plan, business law, sales, marketing and branding, operation, communication, banking, finance and joint declaration.
Training executives M. Liton Hossain, Saddam Hossain and Subrata Datta of the programme conducted the training session as resource persons.
Additional deputy commissioner Abu Bakar Siddique in his speech said about 800 companies are leading the ICT sector in the country and 24,000 learners receive honors and master degree in this sector every year.
He also called upon the entrepreneurs to utilize their knowledge acquired from the training to attain the cherished goal side by side with helping the country turning into a middle income one by 2021.
A total of 30 participants including the entrepreneurs of union information service centre of the district took part in the training.
Earlier, DC M. Ehsan-e-Elahi formally inaugurated the training on August 8.
