Chittagong Metropolitan Police in separate raids arrested two persons including a woman with contraband Yaba tablets and ganja from city’s Karnaphuli Bridge area early yesterday.
The arrestees were identified as Sekandar Hossain, 29 and Ayesha Begum, 35.
Bakalia thana police in separate raids arrested Sekandar with 70 pieces of the Yaba tablets and Ayesha with two kilograms of ganja around 3am, said Mohammad Mohsin, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Bakalia police station.
Two separate cases were filed in this connection.
