Engineer Md. Shamsul Hassan Miah took over the charge as new Chairman of Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) on Tuesday. He is the 33rd Chairman of BPDB.
Prior to his new appointment Hassan was the Member (company affairs) of BPDB. He was born on 17 August, 1957 in Narsingdi. Shamsul Hassan Miah obtained B.Sc Engineering Degree from BUET in Mechanical Engineering in 1980. He joined Power Development Board as Assistant Engineer in the same year.
Shamsul Hassan Miah visited India, Thailand, China, Singapore, USA, Indonesia, Germany, France, Switzerland for training & professional purpose. Mr. & Mrs. Hassan are proud parents of a daughter & a son.
