Police recovered body of an engineer from Hotel Intercontinental in the capital on Wednesday noon.
The deceased has been identified as Subrata Saha, 50, an engineer of the said hotel.
The body was found on the terrace of second floor thereof.
Monirul Islam, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Ramna police station confirmed the matter to the media saying that police was informed about the incident by the hotel authorities at about 1:00pm and they rushed to the spot instantly. He said that forensic team of the Criminal Investigation Department and teams of other law enforcement agencies visited the spot to inspect the incident and situation. We were investigating whether it was an accident or anything else, OC added. Meanwhile, Ramna police Sub-Inspector (SI) Md Milon said. “We have recovered the body and sent it to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) morgue for autopsy,” The cause of his death will be known only after investigation.
